Thanks for a good breakfast

Today I am thankful for a cool, clear, quiet Sunday morning, and the time to fix a good breakfast. First, we opened all the windows to let a wonderful north wind into the house. Then did the daily readings together out of the Book of Common Prayer.

THEN I got out the iron skillet, cut up mushrooms, peppers, summer squash, onions, and sauteed them on medium heat with some olive oil. Covered them for five minutes until soft, and added eggs and pre-cooked bacon.

Food for body and soul!
