Well, this is my first venture into the blogosphere. I never thought I would spend the little amount of time I have doing this, but here it is (I am).
I suppose this will be something like a journal or diary. Don't know whether I want to make my identity known or not! I am 54 years old, have high blood pressure, a heart murmur, and cancer. Other than that, I am quite healthy!
I have always valued a quiet life, hence the title. One of my favorite Bible texts expresses how I feel about life in general:
"But we urge you, bretheren, to excel still more, and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, and attend to your own business, and work with your hands, just as we commanded you; so that you may behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need."
(I Thessalonians 4:10-12)
Yes, I am a man of faith in Christ. A badly flawed man, but a follower of Him all the same.
